Waskey began this project in early 2011, working with the client and engineers from CDI Engineering Solutions. The project required an access bridge spanning a nearby creek to reach an Entergy Substation. Complexities of the job included bridge construction to an exact 55° skew, panel thicknesses in upwards of 19½”, and the precasting of approach slabs and approach foundations. Other interesting features of this project included the use of Waskey’s “Super-Cap,” which measures 2’-6” wide and 2’-10” tall. This capsill was required to fit the projects 18” square piling. Construction was completed by Waskey at both the S. Choctaw Plant and the N. Flannery Plant on time and with the highest standards due to Waskey’s experienced quality control personnel. The panels and capsills were delivered to the project site ready with all materials and necessities for immediate installation.
