Precast Drainage Trench System

The Waskey Drainage Trench System is a proven solution for drainage and impoundment.

All systems have been approved by FERC on various projects and adhere to ACI 318, ACI 350 and HS-20 standards. Waskey’s trench system can be supported by soil or pile caps and is produced to incorporate all turns and intersections. Floors are sloped to client specifications to eliminate man hours after installation. Waskey often incorporates grating, lids, and other accoutrements to provide clients with a turnkey solution. Trenches can be lined with Waskey’s proprietary cryogenic liner to greatly reduce leaking at joints and failure of connections / embedment from cryogenic embrittlement in the case of a chemical spill.

  • Design is able to accommodate each projects conditions for top of grade and invert elevations along with clear width(s) through optimized design calculations and drawing packages.
  • In-house engineering capable of designing precast units to meet project specific requirements.
  • Able to facilitate design and fabrication for multiple support conditions: soil, pile cap, pipe rack, etc.
  • Sloped internal floors with constant overall heights create a singular bedding elevation for 100+ LF of trench eliminating the need for sloping the trench bed or grout pouring floors after installation.
  • Trench system incorporates all turns and intersections.
  • Various Grates, Precast Lids, etc. available per project requirements.
  • Able to facilitate built-in curbing and changes in top-of grade as required.
  • Field services units available for any precast jointing or concrete cryogenic lining required.
  • The liner/insulation panels are installed in Waskey’s fabrication yard. Waskey can also provide field manpower to properly seal trench joints and install additional insulation panels after installation.
